Email

Everything comes to one address: hello@gwibbo.com. There's no ticket system, no chat widget in the corner and no form that swallows your message — just an inbox.

It's a small project, so a reply might take a few days. Every message does get read.

Reporting something broken

Bug reports are genuinely welcome, and the more specific ones get fixed faster. If you can, mention:

  • Which tool you were using.
  • What you expected to happen, and what actually happened.
  • Your browser and device — "Safari on an iPhone" is plenty.
  • A screenshot, if it's the sort of thing a screenshot shows.

One thing worth knowing: because the tools run entirely on your device, we can't look up what went wrong on our end. There is no server log with your conversion in it, and no copy of your file for us to inspect. Your description is genuinely all we have to go on — which is why the details help so much.

Please don't email us the file itself unless we've asked and you're happy for us to have it. A description of the document usually gets us there, and a file that stays on your computer is a file nobody has to look after.

Suggesting a tool

A good chunk of the queue comes from suggestions. The useful ones tend to say what the tool should do and what you're putting up with instead today — that second part is usually the giveaway that something is worth building.

The tools that fit here are small, single-purpose, and able to run entirely in a browser. Anything needing an account, a database or a server to phone home to isn't a fit, however good the idea.

Privacy questions

Happy to answer them. The privacy policy covers the details, and the short version is that nothing you put into a tool leaves your device. If you want to check that claim rather than take it, open your browser's network panel while you use one.

Anything you send by email is used to reply to you and nothing else.
